Bathroom design planning and fitting

Bathroom design serves  far more than one's hygienic needs. Just as in ancient cultures, today the bathroom is a place of expression, relaxation, enjoyment and as such it deserves some of the finest thinking.

The bathroom design process is typically carried out in three individual stages that can however overlap in different ways so what follows is a general guideline.

Research: This stage of the bathroom design process is where all ideas, materials and components in general are picked up and put together in a collection. This initial input, together with a rich discussion to create a design brief, is what gives life to an array of possibilities in terms of planning and style. Creativity is already an important element as many ideas are inspired by findings and recorded during the research. The bathroom design process is already directly inspired by the growing research to inform the final design outcome.

Development: The bathroom design process is now during its height: all ideas are tested for feasibility and as a result other ideas spring from the study. Thinking is at this point more focused on problem solving rather than sheer conceptuality. Towards the end of this stage of the process, analysis becomes a strong ruling element, this allows to narrow down the resulting solutions to one single proposal.

Finalization: The final design solution needs now tuning in and refinement. All elements are checked for suitability with each other: the aim is to conserve the necessary, scrap the superfluous, make sure all involved can be safely translated into designs for

manufacturing or working drawings for installation use. Before plans are finalised, a further measurement of the room is carried out, at this point some projects can require 3D designing for better clarity and illustration of sizes and proportions. The bathroom design process is now towards the end and costs can also be finalised and put into a clearer picture helped by a  survey of the to assess pressures and state of heating and water systems.

The bathroom design process is however very flexible as all projects are different. At times, the design is limited to a simple consultation as in marking out materials and components with the aim of drawing costs, on the other hand, where style and options need to be extensively explored, or projects involve bespoke elements, process time span becomes relatively longer.

Fees are shaped by nature and length of the bathroom design study, please contact us to see how much your bathroom design could cost.

Fitting:
Research shows that the installation of any bathroom or home interior must be carried out to the highest possible standard as the wrong fitting not only needs to be repetedly re-fixed but brings down design and product quality also.
Hale Bathrooms only use our own fitters who are well qualified and experienced to install high end brand bathrooms and showers aiming at avoiding false economy and deliver real value for money.

Our fitting areas inlcude all of Cheshire and Manchester, however, we would be happy to discuss fitting in other areas should your project allow this.

Fitting dates go very quickly, and at present we are booked 3 months in advance.

References are supplied upon request to ensure your piece of mind.

All of our fitting carries a full guarantee and when possible a same day call out should anything require attention, this however very rarely happens.
